This is how it looks

It is the code on the left, pasted into this page. On yours it looks the same: with the Minijuegos web header and the menu to switch to the other games.

In English the free embed offers the games that don’t depend on language. The word and quiz games exist only in Spanish for now.

Where to paste it

Three usual places

In WordPress

In the post or page, a Custom HTML block with the line inside. In the sidebar or footer, an HTML widget. If you use the classic editor, in the “Text” or “Code” tab.

In another CMS

Any module, block or widget that accepts HTML will do. The only requirement is that it does not strip the <script> tag; if your CMS removes it, ask whoever administers it.

By hand

In the template, right where you want the game. You can repeat the line with another data-juego to put several on the same page.

The game takes the full width of wherever you paste it and sets its own height. Nothing to fix. If your page is dark, add data-tema="oscuro": the game background is transparent, so the text comes out light.

For a publisher that wants the games as its own: with its logo, its colours and its name, and with the pages in its own house. There are two ways to set it up, and what changes between them is whose URLs they are.

A directory on your domain, through a reverse proxy

Needs Cloudflare in front of your site, or any system where a reverse proxy to us can be set up.

The pages come out at yourpaper.com/games/, inside your template and with your header, your menu, your footer and your advertising. They index on your domain and add to your authority, not ours. That is how the publications below have it.

A dedicated domain for the games

No changes to your site. One DNS record.

games.yourpaper.com, or whichever domain you like, under your brand and linked from your menu. It is what we do when the proxy is not possible, and it can move to the directory the day it becomes possible, without your readers losing their streak.

This is how Alcázar de San Juan, CiudadReal.com, Diario de La Mancha, Herencia.net, Noticias Madrid and Puertollano.info already have it. Visit any of them: it is the same platform with a different masthead.

Questions that always come up

Really free?
Yes. No sign-up, no card and no expiry date. What we get in return is a discreet link to Minijuegos at the foot of each game, and knowing which website it is played from: we record the domain and the game loaded, nothing about the reader.
Which games are in the free version?
The 5 daily ones: Memorión, Mini sudoku, Easy sudoku, Medium sudoku, Hard sudoku. The other 6 —Number cross, Blocks, Crack the code, Numbers, Connect four, 2048— are only in the branded version for publishers.
Can I put several games on the same page?
As many as you like. Paste the line once per game, each with its own data-juego. And if you paste just one, the reader can switch to the others without leaving your page, from the “Games” menu in the header. With data-menu="no" only that one stays.
Does it work in WordPress?
In any CMS that lets you paste HTML: in WordPress, a “Custom HTML” block in the post or page, or an HTML widget in the sidebar. No plugin to install and nothing to upload.
What about advertising?
The games carry no ads, neither in the free version nor in the branded one. The page where you paste it is still yours, and so is everything around it: your ads, your menu, your related articles.
Do my readers have to sign up?
No. Streaks and statistics are saved in their own browser. There are no accounts, neither ours nor yours.
How is the tailored version different?
Branding and URLs. In the free version the game shows inside your page, with our name at the foot and served from minijuegosweb.com. In the branded one it carries your logo and your colours, lives on your own domain or as a directory of your site with your header and footer, and its pages index on Google as yours. It is a different section, not a setting: if you move from one to the other, readers start their streak from zero.
How do I remove it?
Delete the line. Nothing is left on your site.
