Privacy and cookies

The short version

You don’t need to register to play and we ask you for no data. We use no advertising or tracking cookies, so you will see no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

What is stored and where

Your games, streaks and statistics are stored in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). They are not sent to any server: if you clear your browser data or play from another device, you start from zero.

A technical detail with practical consequences: when you play inside a publisher’s website, the browser isolates that storage per site. Your streaks on one publisher are not shared with those of another, nor with those of this website.

Data that is processed

Our hosting provider records technical request data (IP address, user agent, date) for security and to serve the website. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the service available and secure.

If you write to us at hola@minijuegosweb.com, we will process the data you provide solely to reply to you.

The form for publishers

This part doesn’t concern you if you only play: the enquiry form is for the person in charge of a publication that wants to publish the games, and it is the only place on the website where data is requested.

Of what is sent we keep what is written —name of the publication, website, contact person, role, email, phone if you give it, how you want it set up and the message— and, with it, the technical data of that connection: IP address, browser and system, language, time zone, the approximate city and internet provider that Cloudflare reports to us, and which page you came from. They serve two purposes: preparing the proposal with some context and telling a real enquiry from an automated submission.

The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box, and the legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse. They are kept for as long as the commercial relationship lasts or, if there is none, until they stop being useful to reply to you. They are not shared with anyone and are not used to send you advertising.

Turnstile, the anti-bot check

That form is protected with Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the sender is a person and not a program. It is the alternative to captchas that ask you to decipher letters or point at traffic lights: usually there is nothing to do.

To work, Turnstile loads a component from Cloudflare’s servers and analyses technical signals from the browser. Cloudflare states that it does not use it to collect personally identifiable data or to track you across websites. The details are in the Turnstile privacy policy.

It is only loaded on the form page. On the rest of the site, and in the games, there is none of this.

Measurement inside a publisher

When a game is published inside a publisher’s website, the game reports game events to that website without personal data: which game it is, which day and whether it was completed. What the publisher does with that signal, and which cookies it sets on its own website, is governed by that publisher’s privacy policy, not by this one.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to hola@minijuegosweb.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

To delete your games you don’t need to write to us: just clear this website’s site data in your browser.
